Brooklyn: Kolberg-Pioneer Intern
Brooklyn is a human resources and accounting intern at Kolberg-Pioneer. Brooklyn shared that her internship has helped her plan her future, “I got to see what it is like to work in a business setting. I really enjoyed it and I really can’t wait to do it in the future.” She puts together packets and paperwork and works as a receptionist. At school she enjoys being a part of NHS and helping with teen tech tutoring. In the community, Brooklyn volunteers for River City Domestic Violence Center.
She has an instinct for Mathematics and is a former cheerleader. She is full of great plans for the future and was recently accepted into the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Brooklyn plans to obtain a degree in business finance
Even at a young age Brooklyn knew she wanted to be like her mother, her source of inspiration and her role model. Brooklyn expressed, “My mother has always been there to guide me and help me grow as a person.” Brooklyn told me that her mother founded her own business. The perseverance and hardwork of her mother are important qualities in her life. Brooklyn dreams of becoming a business woman herself.
